Cathryn Violet Artisan Soap holds paramount value in handcrafting products that are made with wholesome high quality ingredients and sustainable methods. I have chosen to make organic botanicals and essential oils a priority because I feel that ethically and environmentally this is very important to our world and our health and well being.
Soap Info: I only use high quality natural, vegan ingredients, and avoid synthetic fragrances, dyes, and commercial detergents of a variety of chemical names ( there are no phalates, parabens, sulfates, phenoxyethanol, PEG, propylene glycol, petroleum products, tetrasodium EDTA, silicones, or synthetic surfactants). You’ll find only plant botanicals and cruelty free soap here in the workshop!
Assured quality and organic botanicals are the cornerstone in the soap making process from the first hydrating splash of distilled water to the saponification of nourishing oils and the luscious finished product.
Due to the nature of the handcrafted method, the soap cures for a full month or more before bars are considered ready to sell and use. Given the nature of this process all sales are final.
Handmade Soaps are longest lasting when kept dry after initial use and we recommend placing our product in a well-drained dish where air can flow through.
*Disclaimer: The essential oils used in our soap making process are comprised from larger quantities of superior cultivated herbs that are concentrated for superior beneficial properties. Although these oils are used in minute amounts in relation to the overall batch size, the American Herbal Products Association recommends consulting their Botanical Safety Index, and taking caution in using these essential oils and herbs while pregnant or nursing.
